Are these heavyweight shorts?

Yes. They use the same thick, heavy cotton fleece as the Rx Tailored Sweatpants, brushed on the inside face so the surface softens without the fabric losing weight. Heavier fleece hangs straighter from the waistband and holds the leg line instead of riding up through the day.

Where are the Relaxed Shorts made?

Designed in San Francisco and made in Korea. The shorts share their fleece and their trim package with the Rx Tailored Sweatpants, and both are manufactured in Korea. Design, pattern and specification happen in San Francisco, as they do for every piece in the collection.

What is the drawstring like?

A bungee cord with black metal end caps, part of the industrial trim package shared with the Rx Tailored Sweatpants. It pulls and holds rather than sitting flat and knotting the way a woven cotton tape does, and the metal caps stop the cord fraying at the ends.

How do the Relaxed Shorts fit?

Relaxed through the hip and thigh, as the name says. Our fit model is 6'1" and wears a Medium, and sizes run Small through XL. If you want a closer leg in the same fleece, the Rx Tailored Sweatpants run slim from the knee down.
